‘easyfundraising‘ is such an easy – and free – way to raise funds for the South Woodford Society while you’re shopping – all to make South Woodford (SOWO) an even better place to live, work and visit!
It would make a a real difference if you could take a moment to sign up to easyfundraising and select to support the ‘South Woodford Society’.
Once you’ve signed up you can raise free donations for the SOWO Society when you shop online – with over 8,000 retailers taking part in the scheme.
It’s quick to do – and just to say again that there is no cost at all to you. Whenever you buy through participating sites, they will make a donation to the SOWO Society – it really is as simple as that.
Here’s how to sign up (There are several ways to get to the same point. It looks more complicated than it is – but these steps got us there nice and quickly!) :
- Go to the easyfundraising site https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/
- Click on Start raising free donations today
- Select ‘Support a cause‘
- Type South Woodford Society into the box alongside Search cause
- Click on Search Cause again and the next screen lists the South Woodford Society under ‘1 cause’
- Click on the South Woodford Society listing (shown below)
- Then click on Start raising free donations today again
- You will see this screen…
- … and will then be led through a few simple steps to create your account when you click through.
- After a screen saying you have set up your account
- The next screen invites you to Set up an extension
- The extension is to remind you to click to get a donation whenever you go onto a participating site (here is an example of what you will see)
- And then carry on shopping as usual.
You can download the App onto your phone as well and add the extension in the same way.
So, whenever you shop online, you can be raising free donations for the SOWO Society – and ultimately for you! Thank you!
